Haunted Mansion
This quilt was super easy and fast to make using the 9-Patch Pizzazz technique by Judy Sisneros the Haunted Mansion panel by Henry Glass Fabrics. I quilted it with the Spiders & Webs digital design by Wasatch Quilting.

RowByRowExperience2023
Finished!!! My Row By Row Experience 2023 challenge quilt. The challenge is to make a quilt using at least 8 (9" x 36") panels created by participating quilt shops. I created mine using panels from 8 Texas quilt shops and one from a quilt shop in Alaska with a moose just because I liked it. It was great fun. The digital quilting design is Fluidity. The label lists each quilt shop and panel

Suduko FridaKahloMexicoFolkArt
This is a fun Suduko quilt I created in a Workshop taught by Tommy Romano for the CPQGTX in July. I used Frida Kahlo Mexico Folk Art fabric for the Suduko squares and framed them with yellow ocher sashing to make them pop. Climbing Rose is the digital quilting design.

Beary Threaded
The quilt below I call "Beary Threaded". I used a bunch of "Quilting Up a Storm" pillow tops I got at a rummage sale to create a quilt in Louann Fisher's One Block Wonder workshop for the CPQGTX. It was too small for a throw size quilt so I added a bunch of borders and quilted it with a "Thread Spools" pattern.

Pink Baby Animals
Just finished this custom baby quilt. It uses the Little Darlings Safari fabric collection. The quilting design, Welcome Flowers by Anne Bright, really stands out on the Minky backing. I used Quilter's Dream Angel, flame retardent batting, which makes it both light & cuddly.

Kaleidoscope DocksideWithTheDogs
I took a class to learn the Kaleidoscope technique. I used a border print called "Dockside With the Dogs" - the dock makes it look like a bunch of life preservers. This was alot of fun to make. I call it "Kaleidoscope Dockside with the Dogs". It's quilted with a "Dog Paws Overlay" quilt design.

RibbonsOfConnection_Front20230219.JPG
My "Ribbons Of Connection" quilt from Sarah Ruiz's CPQGTX Ribbons workshop. I started out using fabric from my stash. I had a multicolor stripe for the poles the ribbons are wound around. When I laid the pieces on my picnic tablecloth design wall, the stripe was a discordent element that made it butt ugly. So I searched for a fabric that would pull it together and found this yellow Black History Month Celebration fabric that was perfect. I quilted it with "Smokin" by Anne Bright to mimic the streamers in the Black History fabric.

Here's my latest double vision quilt "Beyond the Aurora - Double Vision", I'm thrilled with how it turned out. The tigers look like they're standing on a black rock. I quilted it on my longarm. The center with Wild Swirls by Anne Bright Designs and the border with CW Bdr by Wasatch Quilting. I created this double vision quilt as a sample for a class I'm teaching on the "double vision technique", using two panels I got from eQuilter.com: Beyond the Aurora by Timeless Treasures and Aurora-Light Over the Forest by the Rubin Design Studio.

Wanderlust_Paris_Front.JPG
My Summer Vacation! This depicts the places I visited in Paris this summer. I used Hoffman Fabrics Wanderlust panel to create a sample for a class I teach on the Harmonic Convergence technique. When my husband saw the Eiffel Tower, he said, "Why don't you add the other places we visited?" With that inspiration I created appliques for Notre Dame, Luxembourg Palace Gardens, Moulin Rouge and then embroidered labels for each historic building using my new Janome CM17 embroidery machine.

I'm just thrilled with my "Udder Curiosity" quilt. I saw this cows panel and had to make a quilt. I used Ricky Tims Harmonic Converenge technique where you meld 4 different fabrics. The corners without the cows looked sort of bare so I created 3 mini convergence circles and sewed them into the corners. It's quilted it on my longarm with a pattern called "Wild Swirls" that sort of looks like the leaves of grass in the cows panel.
